At Indian Lake, swimmers can enjoy two public swimming beaches - Old Field Beach and Fox Island Beach. There are also four designated boat/swim areas.

Mad River Mountain is a ski and snowboard resort located east of Bellefontaine on U.S. 33. There are 23 trails of various skill levels, a tubing park, and two beginner areas. website

Ohio Caverns is a show cave located near West Liberty, Ohio. A popular tourist destination and member of the National Caving Association, it is the largest of all the cave systems in Ohio and contains many crystal formations. Approximately 90% of its stalactite and stalagmite formations are still active.

Indian Lake has several hiking trails - the Cherokee Trail, an easy three-mile walk through brushy habitat located west of the Indian Lake State Campgrounds and Pew Island Trails, a one-mile path which encircles Pew Island and affords a spectacular view of Indian Lake. A four-mile paved bikeway is open to hikers and joggers and is located on the western banks between Old Field Beach and Russells Point. |

The Armstrong Air and Space Museum is located in Wapakoneta (West of I-75, exit 111), the hometown of Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon. The museum chronicles Ohio's conribution to the history of space flight. website

The Logan County Historical Society and Museum is located in Bellefontaine. The museum includes the Orr Mansion, former home of the local Orr family, as well as an extension to the mansion that includes history exhibits from around the county. website |
