Parks and Hiking

Indian Lake has several trails for hikers.  The Cherokee Trails, a three-mile easy walk through brushy habitat, is located west of the Indian Lake State Campgrounds.  The Pew Island Trail, a one-mile path, encircles Pew Island and affords a spectacular view of Indian Lake.  Access is available to Pew Island from a causeway.  A four-mile paved bikeway is also open to hikers and joggers and is located on the western banks between Old Field Beach and Russells Point.
